Hey friends- random q: When do ya’ll consider a partner "signed" on (for a non tiered partner system) Is it after they sign a referral agreement? NDA? After a lead has been submitted or an integration has been built?

We use "active partner" as our definition rather than someone being signed. A partner is active when they send us a qualified opportunity in a quarter. So a partner can churn if they are no longer active, or can be resurrected to be active again, etc.

In a previous organization that I worked in, similar to Tai, we would define as "active" partners those that had signed an NDA/Agreement, had gone through certification/enablement and had registered a lead with us. We also marked partners as inactive, etc, if they had been through enablement but weren't engaged or referring leads.
